Starting rates range from $15.00 to $21.85, depending on your experience level.
As a Direct Support Professional, you will:
Build respectful and meaningful relationships with people who need support
Assist with meal planning, grocery shopping, and meal preparation, including dietary needs
Manage and administer medications safely
Support clients during medical appointments and assist with personal hygiene
Help develop, implement, and document goals in Individual Support Plans
Work collaboratively as a team member, following instructions and attending required meetings
Join in celebrating milestones, birthdays, and holidays with clients
Ensure compliance with all local and state regulations
Plan and provide clients with opportunities for social and recreational activities, both in-home and within the community
Assist clients with money management while adhering to policies for safeguarding client funds

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; college students and graduates are encouraged to apply
Valid driver’s license
Act 34 and FBI clearances required
Physical exam with Mantoux test prior to start date
Experience is helpful but not required; comprehensive training is provided
